Ariana Lee (she/her/她) is a Taiwanese and Chinese American poet, writer, and cultural storyteller from Houston, Texas. Through poetry, public speaking, and creative facilitation, she explores how stories shape identity, community, and the ways we imagine the future.
Ariana is a 2025–2026 Artist-in-Residence with Stanford University's Institute for Diversity in the Arts, an inaugural Public Poets Fellow with Youth Speaks, and the 2022–2023 Houston Youth Poet Laureate. A two-time member of Meta4 Houston, she helped lead the team to become the first from Houston to win the national Brave New Voices poetry festival in 2023.
Her work has been featured by organizations including NASA, the NCAA, Stop AAPI Hate, the Aspen Institute, and the Houston Mayor's Office. Her writing appears in Poetry, The Offing, Button Poetry, Hanging Loose, and other publications.
Drawing from her experiences as a poet, performer, and community builder, Ariana creates spaces where participants can explore identity, belonging, civic imagination, and the power of storytelling to connect personal experience with larger social and cultural conversations. She is currently a student at Stanford University.
