Voter suppression. Voter intimidation. Mailboxes vanishing. Drop boxes appearing. And politicians up and down the ballot amplifying your fears as you ponder worse-case scenarios - no doubt fueled by the anxiety of living in a Covid-19 world.

We don’t know what’s going to happen in this election. And based on the challenges of voting in a pandemic, we likely won’t know the winner on election night either. After November 3rd, political pundits will surely take to the airwaves to offer their perspectives. Yet where can you turn to make sense of it all?

SpeakOut has put together a panel of three brilliant changemakers who will look at this year’s critical presidential election through a racial and social justice lens. Join us to hear from Dr. Melina Abdullah, an acclaimed professor and frontline leader of Black Lives Matter, Helen Zia, an award-winning journalist and scholar, and Tim Wise, one of the country’s leading anti-racism educators and authors. They’ll sift through the noise and distractions to help you understand what is happening, how to keep your eyes on what’s at stake, and more importantly, the ways we can continue to transform society no matter who occupies the White House.

TICKETS ARE SLIDING SCALE $5 - $50 (pay what you are able).
