Black Youth Project 100 (BYP 100) is an activist member-based organization of Black 18-35 year olds, dedicated to creating justice and freedom for all Black people. We do this through building a collective focused on transformative leadership development, non-violent direct action organizing, advocacy and education.

CampusActivism.org is an interactive website that has many tools for student (and non-student) activists including an events calendar, over 150 online resources (things like organizing guides and issue related materials), searchable databases of people, groups, schools, email lists, etc.

California Student Sustainability Coalitionis a coalition of students and student groups working to promote student involvement with University of California faculty, staff and administration in collaboration with the UC Office of the President and the UC Board of Regents, to implement environmentally sound practices in the UC system and to unite and empower students throughout the state with the common goal of assuring a sustainable future for California and the world.

Campus Climate Challenge is a project of more than 30 leading youth organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Challenge unites young people to organize on college campuses and high schools to win 100% Clean Energy policies at their schools. 

Campus Greens is a national student-based, non-profit organization dedicated to building a broad-based movement for radical democracy on America's high school and college campuses.

CampusPride represents the only national nonprofit organization for student leaders and campus groups to create a safer college environment for LGBT students. They develop resources, programs and services to support LGBT and ally students on college campuses across the United States.

Campus Progress, a project of the Center for American Progress, is an effort to strengthen progressive efforts on college and university campuses nationwide; counter the growing influence of right-wing groups on campus; and empower new generations of progressive leaders.

Democracy Matters informs and engages college students and communities in efforts to strengthen democracy. With campus-based chapters throughout the country, they focus on the issue of private money in politics and other pro-democracy reforms.

Feminist Campus is the campus program of the Feminist Majority Foundation and focuses on reproductive rights, women’s rights, affirmative action, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights through organizing, networking and educational advocacy at colleges, universities and high schools nationwide.

Free Exchange on Campus is a coalition of groups committed to advocating for the rights of students and faculty to hear and express a full range of ideas unencumbered by political or ideological interference. The free exchange of ideas on a college or university campus is central to the learning process yet this freedom is being threatened by ideological agendas, like the so-called "Academic Bill of Rights" initiatives.

The Gathering for Justice brings together civil rights and social justice organizations nationwide to stop child incarceration and challenge an unjust justice system.  

Hip Hop Congress is an organization run by high school and college students who understand the societal pressures on today's youth. They use Hip Hop to inspire social and civic action and stimulate individual creativity.

The Institute for College Access & Success works to make higher education more available and affordable for people of all backgrounds. Million Hoodies Movement for Justice is a national network of students, artists, activists, and organizers working to protect and empower young people of color from mass criminalization and gun violence.

Mobilize.org is an all-partisan network dedicated to educating, empowering, and energizing young people to increase civic engagement and political participation. 

NAACP Youth & College Division - believes strongly that future leaders must be developed today, and such development is ongoing in the Youth & College Division, created in 1936. Today there are more than 25,000 young people, under the age of 25, representing 700 Youth Councils, High School Chapters and College Chapters actively involved in the fight for civil rights.

The National Youth and Student Peace Coalition organizes students for the global liberation and empowerment of oppressed people, and educates youth and students about the issues surrounding war, terrorism, and the impact of September 11th-related legislation.

The 180/Movement for Democracy and Education is dedicated to helping build a campus based movement for political empowerment and participatory democracy. Their site has a campus democracy program and information on how you can affiliate as a local chapter.

The Responsible Endowment Coalition is a diverse network of students, alumni and faculty from across the country dedicated to advancing socially and environmentally responsible investing (SRI) in college and university endowments.

Sierra Student Coalition is the largest student-led environmental group in the country. With over 250 affiliated groups, the SSC educates, lobbies, provides trainings for organizers, and organizes outings.

Student Debt Alert is a project of the Student PIRGs (Public Interest Research Groups). With the help of a professional staff of advocates and organizers, the student PIRGs investigate problems and develop practical solutions, and convince the media and decision-makers to pay attention and take action.

Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC) is a student and youth run national network of progressive organizations and individuals whose aim is to uproot environmental injustices through action and education.

Student Peace Action is a grassroots peace and justice organization working on campuses to end physical, social and economic violence caused by U.S. militarism at home and abroad.

Student Pugwash USA promotes social responsibility in science and technology, preparing science, technology and policy students to make social responsibility a guiding focus of their academic and professional endeavors.

Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), a new national student activist organization that is using the historical SDS name, has over 260 university and high school chapters nationwide.

Tent State University is a national movement for the right to an education that is opposed to tuition, privatization of public education, and other forms of discrimination in education.

United States Student Association tracks and lobbies federal legislation and policy, and organizes students from across the country to participate in the political process, through testifying in official Congressional hearings, letter-writing campaigns, and face-to-face lobby visits between students and their elected officials.

Young Democratic Socialists is the nation's largest socialist student and youth organization and among its activities is educating and mobilizing youth and students to confront the student debt crisis and to increase access to higher education.

Young People For, a strategic, long-term leadership initiative, was launched by People for the American Way Foundation to invest in the next generation of leaders and build a long-term national network for young progressives.
