NCORE, the leading national conference on the issues of race and ethnicity in American higher education, draws some 2300 attendees each year. Campus leaders and social justice change agents came together to share ways to build inclusive campuses and culturally effective students. With issues of race, gender and ethnicity shaping the world's news, NCORE is still essential to building skills and gathering tools for positive change.
SpeakOut is always out in force - our speakers and artists offered pre-conference institutes, keynotes, workshops and breakout sessions. Staffers Jean Caiani and Felicia Gustin work the booth in the exhibit hall - networking, coordinating conference booksignings, and selling books and DVDs.
